I am a dedicated academic professional addressing complex social-environmental and natural resource challenges. Currently, I'm a Faculty Member and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), Iran. My expertise centers on the human dimensions of conservation, with a significant record of publications in reputable journals.In my seven-year career, I've supervised Postdoctoral, Ph.D., MSc, and BSc students and held administrative roles, including Vice-Chair of the Water and Environment Research Institute at FUM. I'm currently pursuing the Associate Professor rank at FUM.I've actively participated in national and international research projects, including roles as a Lead Author for the GEO-7 United Nations (2023-2026) and at IPBES (2014-2018). My teaching philosophy employs the Socratic method to foster a deep understanding of environmental concepts.My research uses a systemic thinking approach, analyzing environmental challenges from philosophical foundations to actionable proactivity. I'm a member of IUCN and the Society for Ecological Restoration.I specialize in planning, managing, and implementing integrated conservation and rural development projects, often building partnerships between governments, the private sector, NGOs, and communities. I've overseen programs focused on conservation, wildlife crime prevention, cross-border tourism, community empowerment, livelihood diversification, and governance.I'm passionate about making a meaningful impact in environmental sustainability and natural resource management.
