Spearheaded the procurement, implementation, deployment, maintenance and optimization of complex Automation and Access Control Systems at King Abdullah Port combining several contemporary technologies in the fields of Differential Geographic Positioning & Inertia Navigation Systems for real time tracking, Radio Frequency Identification, Biometric scanning, Motion sensing/detection, 2-3D Laser Scanning and Optical Character Recognition. The main systems included:• Auto-Yard Eagle Eye: A macro-level system that integrates data input from various systems, detects real time location of every crane, vehicle and equipment, and displays them on a virtual map• Auto-Gate: Full-fledged 8 lane system that automates inbound and outbound of trucks for import and export activities• Chassis Positioning System: High accuracy 3D scanners assist drivers in properly, safely and smoothly positioning truck chassis under STS and RTG cranes• Auto-Quay: Combines OCR technology and motion tracking capabilities to verify container numbers upon loading and discharging containers• Sophisticated Access Control System (KABA) using pin code, biometric and RFID technologies on both facilities and assets• Reefer Monitoring System for temperature controlled containers

Originally appointed as a "Marketing Coordinator" early in 2010, representing the company in international trade fairs and overseas customers' negotiations, I was assigned the role of "Business Developer" in November 2011 responsible for overall process and management improvements. Since then, the company underwent series of serious modifications including improved operational logistics, redefined production and workflow disciplines, enhanced traceability and safety through proper quality assurance implementation, setting aggressive sales and innovative marketing strategies, in addition to hiring and training new workforce members.Achievements:● Spearheaded the installation and commencment of a fully automatic aerosol production line with a total annual capacity of 13.5 Million pcs● Architected, designed and implemented new KPI metrics, SOPs, and strict maintenance patterns that boosted productivity by 22%● Identified and eliminated the plant's bottlenecks by reorganizing three production facilities and managing constraints which resulted in 50% drop in WIP (in-process inventory)● Eliminated lead times, and achieved a 95% on-time delivery of products to customers● Introduced and completed an expandable control system on inventory of six warehouses and set periodical purchasing patterns of more than 600 different raw material● Expanded the sales department through developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans that helped increase customer base over 250% and sales nearly $0.5 M in 4 months● Hired, trained, and managed a production team of 10 skilled workers, a production manager, and a plant manager● Planned, branded, launched, and supervised a new business division acting as an independent entity offering local "Air Freshener" service. Conducted face-to-face meetings with potential customers, negotiated deals and buying contracts, personally analyzed customer satisfaction surveys and handled customer complaints

Lead and managed a team of 40-50 employees through planning, directing the required production activities, and interacting with various departments to achieve prospect business plan targets.Adhered to all GMP standards, acquired knowledge of HACCP/ISO advantage, and implemented the “BRC/IoP Global Standard for Packaging & Packaging Materials” requirements.Practiced Macro-management approaches and fostered family spirit among team members and colleagues.Responsibilities:● Work planning, managing large volume inventories, manufacturing cost containment programs, and following a “hands-on” approach to leadership.● Achieve optimum efficient production in accordance to daily plan, meet the set quality standards, and minimize waste and scrap material through continuous monitoring of specific KPI, COQ, 5S(Japanese Management Methodology), and Six Sigma, while preserving safety.● Attain greater levels of efficiency through apposite OJT, coaching, and training of staff and personnel.Achievements:● Reduced 8% of the daily total downtime by eliminating redundant work trends and habits.● Established and implemented a Quality-Control Program to monitor quality parameters and set product standards to maintain customer satisfaction.● Established first preventive maintenance schedule, ensuring optimal equipment operation without costly downtime.● Developed a full KPI (Key Performance Indicator) System to four different sections of the plant in addition to analysis schemes, action-plan forms and procedures.● Coordinated the installation and commissioning of a new “Paper Tube” forming line.● Improvised new cost cutting and “Waste-Utilization” practices that saved the company money and waste.

Interpreted various Special Application Automated Robotic machines’ anatomy (structure, function, design and control), and implemented conceptual engineering solutions/enhancements to patented robots.
