Secured $450,000 for Shriners Hospitals for Children — Honolulu’s first comprehensive marketing campaign and managed tv, print, radio and paid partnerships. In 2016, I received a Pele Award for a video to help kids with scoliosis and self-esteem. In 2015, our integrated communications campaign received a Koa Anvil award and television PSAs won a Koa Hammer award from the Public Relations Society of America Hawai`i Chapter. Created successful marketing videos and facebook live reports. An anti-bullying marketing video to help girls with scoliosis and self-esteem was viewed 75K times. My facebook live interview with the highest ranking Shriner in the world was viewed 11K times. Launched physician relations program and hired recognized physician relations officer. Program achieved 40% growth in patients during its first year, the highest increase by a 2-to-1 margin in Shriners’ 22-hospital system. Created patient ambassador program to spread awareness about Shriners Hospitals patients; coordinated two Hawaii Five-0 film shoots at Shriners Hospital, traveled to the Shriners Open in Las Vegas for interviews with patients and pro-golfer Tony Finau; and secured numerous stories in Hawaii media. Launched social media platforms for Shriners Honolulu. Local facebook page gained nearly 5,000 likes and grew by 382% during its second year. Wrote essays and successfully nominated Shriners physicians and medical staff for awards including 2014 and 2015 Physician of the Year and 2014 Leadership Award by the Healthcare Association of Hawaii; 2015 Young Community Leader of the Year and 40 Under 40 by Pacific Business News; and a $25,000 award for Hawaii’s favorite charity by the Servco Foundation.
