Currently a dietetic intern at Wellness Workdays. Concurrently pursuing my Master of Science in Human Nutrition with a concentration in clinical nutrition from the University of Alabama. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University. While actively seeking new opportunities to further my dietetics career, I am project manager and intern lead for the Weight Inclusive Toolkit Initiative (WITI), a new project in regards to weight inclusive care (HAES, intuitive eating), weight stigma, and screening/treatment of eating disorders/chronic dieting prior to MNT. I have had experience in many areas of nutrition such as pediatrics, women's health, sports, and fitness. Nutrition is just one piece of the puzzle. Each piece - whether it's lifestyle, physical activity, wellness, mindfulness, or your food choices - plays a vital role in completing the overall picture. It is essential to balance these elements, as these will effectively ensure a holistic approach to your overall health.
