My work at IIT Kanpur was related to molecular oncology. I was working under the guidance of Dr. Bushra Ateeq on molecular mechanism involving progression of prostate cancer. In molecular oncology lab, I gained expertise in molecular biology techniques such as RNA isolation and Genomic DNA isolation from mammalian cells as well as tissue samples. At NIO, Goa I worked at Mangrove Biology lab. Here I worked with different kinds of marine samples including deeps sea sediments, poly-metalic nodules, mangrove plant parts. I gained expertise in GC-MS for fatty acid analysis of different marine biology samples. I have worked on biochemical analysis of marine samples for Nitrogen, Nitrate, Nitrites, Carbon, etc. I also worked on different enzymes and its kinetics.
