Manage Orange County Public Schools system through planning, design, construction and close-out phases.

To manage and prepare the business development opportunities and activities within the designated territory, provide project delivery leadership on current retail and healthcare projects and manage the day to day running of the business.

Responsible for the administrative, client relationships, authority relations, and Hyder Consulting three sectors (Property, Transportation, and Utilities) operation within the State of Qatar.

Managing a joint venture organization with Atkins for the design and site supervision of all infrastructure to include utility tunnels, cooling plants, car parks, RO plants, solid waste facility, roads, traffic, environmental assessment, people mover stations and rail, IT/Telecom cabling, security, and landscape packages.

I provide local support to our global rail business for the Qatar Integrated Rail Project. Interface with all local and international consultants and provide Government and private stakeholder management. I facilitate all our sectors to pursue rail related opportunities in this market.

I lead our design teams in Infrastructure and Planning in the Northern Gulf, including Qatar, Bahrain, and a growing role in Saudi Arabia. I will also drive technical delivery on projects, all aspects of Function Group commercial performance, and business development alongside our Client Relationship Directors/Managers.

• College Of Medicine (171,000 sf): Participated in the coordination with the end-users, Architect - Baker Barrios and his consultants during all phases of design. Reviewed and coordinated with the Construction Manager (CM) - Balfour Beatty Construction - during his review workshops, cost estimates, bidding, and guaranteed maximum price submissions. Supervised the construction, reviewed the CPM schedule, reviewed the monthly pay application, and any change order pricing. This is 4-story $68 million building to house the administrative offices of the college, the anatomy lab., clinical skills lab., simulation lab., classrooms and auditoriums, and a café and student lounge. This building is rated to be LEED Silver. Completed in February 2010.• Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences (198,000 sf): Also participated through all phases of design with the architect (HOK) and the construction manager - Whiting-Turner. This contract is a Construction Management at-Risk. The $98 million project has started in 2007 and completed in Spring 2009. The project was bid in three phases: early site, shell and core, and interior fit-out. The project has a 5-story laboratory building and an adjacent animal research facility. This building will be applied for LEED Silver.• Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona Site Development (27 acres): Working with architect, consultants, construction manager, and university to finalize the parking facilities, gardens, sidewalks, monuments, courtyards, fountains, and plazas. Completed.• Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona Landscaping Master Plan (50 acres): Coordinating with architect, development authority, the City of Orlando, and the university to develop a comprehensive master plan. • Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona Utility Infrastructure Master Plan (50 acres): Working with architect and his civil engineer as well as Lake Nona Land Company L.L.C. to develop a utility master plan for the Health Sciences Campus.

• Creol Building Addition (28,000 sf): Adding research and office space wing to an existing building. Coordinating with the appropriate college on their needs and providing periodic budget updates to the users of this future addition. Review pay applications, variation orders, and authorize any revisions to the plans. Project completed in 2007.• Engineering Building III (132,000 sf): Project management of this 4 story building as the university representative on this hard bid contract. Reviewed pay applications, change orders, punch lists, and progress. This project comprised of office space, research space, and instructional space and was completed in 2006.• University Health Center (68,000 sf): Project management of this three story student clinic that serves the entire campus. Reviewed pay applications, change order and overall quality and progress. Project delivered as a CM at-risk format, on-time, and on budget in 2005.Other projects from 1999 to 2005 included the following projects: College of Public Affairs and Health II, Burnett Honors College, Teaching Center, and Renovation of the College of Education>

Putt-Putt Golf and Games and Splash Mountain Waterpark – Ain Saadeh,Lebanon: He coordinated the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the infrastructure, miniature golf course, indoor playground,fast food restaurants, outdoor courtyards, waterpark’s water slides, swimming pools, hardscape, landscape, and movie theatre complex.

Kuwait Reconstruction Project: He covered different responsibilities in the quality control department surveying damaged schools and ministries and overhead lines. Also worked as a business manager reviewing contracts andcoordinating with the Kuwaiti Government and the Corps of Engineers. Project assignment was from 1991 to 1994 and the contract was valued at $1.20 billion.

U.S. Ambassador’s Residence and Staff Housing – Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter, Saudi Arabia: His responsibilities included reviewing progress, pay applications, and quality control. Project was completed in 1991.

King Saud University – Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His responsibilities covered quality assurance and quality control, construction supervision, remedial work coordination, status reports, and weekly meetings.Construction Value $2.6billion
