During this position, I Conducted a Plant breeding research project by using Chromosome Doubling Technique. •Assisted in producing thousands of new Double Haploid Wheat for farmer customers including homozygous lines for multi traits quantitative, qualitative, and resistant diseases.•Skilled in implementing wheat emasculation, pollination, 2,4D hormonal treatment, vernalization conditions, colchicine, haploid embryo rescue, and embryo culture. Dr. Mohammad Asif.•Supervised the sweet corn production for a cross with Wheat.•Identified pest problems and develop control strategies.•Managed Double Haploid team in the identification of a technical problem and improved protocols in growth chambers, and general greenhouse operations .•Identified seed-borne pathogens .

During this position in Dr. Robert Bowden lab with the USDA research programs, I conducted experiments in Biotrophic Parasitism Wheat Rust (leaf, stem, and stripe) research, particularly on studying disease resistance of new varieties under lab, greenhouse, and field plot conditions. I skilled in genetic interaction of plant disease, Vertical- Horizontal Resistance (R gene), QTL Technique, Mechanisms of resistance PTI-ETI, and Strategies for Durable Resistance. I am experience in Basic Molecular Biology skills including Genotyping, KASP technique. My research work and duties including:•Implemented isolates purification, inoculum preparation, and artificial inoculated plants for USDA Experimental field research. •Conducted phenotyping experiments including scoring infection type, and evaluated disease severity.•Identified Races using Differential Varieties code, Genetic Variation AFLP Molecular Markers Technique, and follow-up the Development of Races to Evaluate Breakdown of Resistance for local Wheat cultivars. •Determined Anastomosis and vegetative Compatibility/Incompatibility Groups (VCGAS) for Fusarium spp. in Dr. John Leslie lab at Plant Pathology Department, KSU.•Managed pesticide applications, and maintained chemical storage area, record keeping area, and providing advice regarding their application. (I have Pesticide Applicators License). •Directed and organized daily operation and maintenance practices for greenhouse facilities and growth chambers, lighting, humidity, and Nutrient.•Developed and implemented daily and periodic plant maintenance programs to provide proper care of plants used for research by faculty, undergraduate and graduate students •Initiated strategic planning to improve greenhouse operations, facilities, and associated equipment.

Agriculture Ministry, Iraq During this role, I supervised pest management programs of vegetable diseases in the greenhouse of the plant protection unit in Rashida province, Baghdad. Participated in the annual campaigns of controlling palm tree insects which have been conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture.
