I am a senior utility engineer with over 10 years of experience. I started my career in designing and managing water, wastewater and irrigation networks. Then I switched to geospatial technology, where I employed my strong background in computer science and geospatial technology to create innovative and sustainable solutions for utilities. I am passionate about using GIS to improve environmental and social outcomes, such as reducing water loss, enhancing service quality and supporting disaster management. Some of my achievements include:* Leading the GIS operation and maintenance project for the Ministry of Electricity and Water in Kuwait, where I administered every aspect of the GIS system and supervised the data collection, verification and analysis.* Obtaining several professional certifications from Esri, such as ArcGIS Utility Network Specialty, Enterprise Administration Professional and ArcGIS Desktop Professional.* Publishing several research papers on wireless sensor networks topics such as floating-point compression algorithms and aggregated wireless sensor networks.I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with other professionals in the field.
