• Testing of Factory Acceptance Test chips to measure dB/cm loss of spiral and straight waveguides. Analyzed the loss results and provided feedback on the wafer fabrication run
• Packaged Photonic dies onto PCBs (soldering, fiber blocks, optical alignment)
• Created an automated Python testing script that directly takes testpoint coordinates from the GDS files (uses SiEPIC package in Klayout) and uses these to align the fiber block to various grating couplers on the PIC.

Worked on the side polish optic fiber project. studied methods to polish the cladding of an optic fiber to within 2-3 microns of the core surface.read through 3+ research papers to study previous polishing methods used by other research groups.used 3D printing, metallurgical microscopes, and external methods of photopolymerization to create the polishing.
