After spending 10 years in international management and sales, I made a drastic pivot and quit my job at the end of 2019 to travel the world and teach yoga. I have been a digital nomad for almost 5 years now - and I have taught yoga and cultivated community and hospitality in incredible places like Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Ukraine, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and most recently, in Nicaragua.I like to help with start-ups and new projects. When I worked in my corporate job, I traveled immensely and managed and helped launch our international office in Luxembourg, Europe. I helped establish a positive office culture and expanded our business through sales, trade shows, and co-hosting conferences. During COVID in my post-corporate life when my travels were interrupted, I was a part of a start-up Gap Year Program called Global U that offered international cultural immersions, entrepreneurship & computer coding training, and intentional community living for young adults. We offered a 9 month travel program to our students and I assisted in the development of community living through intentional gatherings, wellness, yoga, and excursions. Overall, I helped cultivate “family” while living abroad with our group. In 2021, I moved to Costa Rica to realize a big dream of mine - to surf and teach yoga every day. I lived on the property of a stunning boutique hotel called Nomadic Hotel in Nosara, Costa Rica. I helped engage our guests in impactful experiences and offered them a since of home through on-going hospitality support and teaching yoga every day. To date, I have helped host 14 yoga retreats at high-end resorts like Bodhi Tree Nosara, Olas Verdes, Nomadic Hotel, Amaru, and around the world in more remote locations. I like to travel with purpose and sustainability - and I love to surf! When I quit my corporate job, I made it part of my mission to give back to the communities I traveled to, so I make an effort to do yoga & surf outreach in the areas that I visit. Since 2019, I have been a leader in a non-profit called Wholeness Journey that comes alongside established NGOs to offer yoga and wellness retreats to underprivileged people groups. I am a girl from the Midwest of the USA. The first time I ever saw the ocean was when I was 22 years old. Since the time I was 13, I have always had a dream to surf and live abroad. I am living that dream in my life now.I have freedom of time & location.
