In charge of the preparation and the implementation of the IUCN Programme of Work in North Africa in partnership with governemental and non-governemental organisations member of IUCN. This programme covers Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. The current 2017-2020 Programme deals mainly with conserving and valuing nature, equitable governance for nature's use and deploying nature based solutions for climate change, development and food security. I'm coordinating also a multi-country Civil Society supporting programme since 2014 named PPI-OSCAN.

I have been assigned as Executive Director of the Tunisian NGO "Women For Sustainable Development" from 2004 to 2007. responsible of technical, financial and management aspects of the NGO that provides income generating projects to around two thousands families in deprived areas in Tunisia while dealing with the environment and their health care needs. Supervise the work of twelve local NGO managers that deal with local projects and women targeted income and employment generating activities.

The World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) is the world's premier network of protected area expertise. It is administered by IUCN's Programme on Protected Areas and has over 1,400 members, spanning 140 countries.WCPA works by helping governments and others plan protected areas and integrate them into all sectors; by providing strategic advice to policy makers; by strengthening capacity and investment in protected areas; and by convening the diverse constituency of protected area stakeholders to address challenging issues. For more than 50 years, IUCN and WCPA have been at the forefront of global action on protected areas. from 2009 till 2011, I have been working as WCPA Vice Chair for North Africa and West Asia, coordinating WCPA activities with the collaboration of almost 60 protected areas experts from the MENA region.

I have been involved in the follow up and implementation of studies and projects related mainly to Biodiversity conservation and management especially within protected areas, agricultural and wetlands conservation, Land and urban Master plans, quarrying and enhancing life quality in urban and rural areas.

National Engineer at the National Center of Remote Sensing (Tunis). I was involved in the Inventory of Forest using Remote Sensing tools. This project was based on photo-interpretation and field trips to target sites in order to draw 1/25000 thematic maps about forest resources distribution in Tunisia and to update the Forest Inventory prepared in 1995.
