I am working as a Test Engineer past 2 years with Infosys. My responsibilities are to understand the Business requirements, functionalities and high end scenarios convert it to the teste cases. Execute those test cases and find the defects report to the devloper and get them fix if anything there.

Handled Testing solely and performing Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing and End to End Testing, defect tracking, browser compatibility testing,• Carries out Defect testing & retesting, System testing in four actively used Java based web Applications in Agile environment.• Leading Testing team in sprint activities, Sole ownership of daily Smoke and Regression testing in automation suite in an environment of continuous changes.• Develops Cucumber tests using Gherkins for automating the continuous changes and merge to Regression, own continuous merge to planned RC.• Use Jira, Jenkins and Gerrit.• Collaborating with Developers, Product Owner on daily basis to work for productivity.• Trained test technicians in automation tool testing.• Maintained tests in Jira, attending weekly status calls.• Preparation of test data for UAT scenarios to support Business users, mentoring new team members with respect to Application functionality.• Preparing Test cases and Test execution of the test cases.• Preparing and Reviewing Test Cases based on the acceptance criteria in User stories from JIRA.• Actively Participate in the scrum calls to update status and discuss challenges faced during testing.• Actively providing feedback regarding scrum process during Sprint retrospective meetings.• Logging defects with clear issue descriptions.• Involved in defect triage calls with development counter parts.• Preparing and Maintaining SDLC artifact like Test Plan, Test Cases.
