Being a Security Officer, I got the opportunity to work as the Duty Officer Special Operation Team and in-charge of on-board security observer & access permit issuing section.

Served as the Office Manager from July 2003 to December 2004. There, I was responsible for all matters pertaining to administration and logistics which includes recruitment of personnel, operation, matters relating to Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) & Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF), attending to courts procedures representing the company and maintenance of the fleet of company vehicles & other asserts.

Started military career as an Officer Cadet in the Sri Lanka Military Academy,Diyathalawa in July 1994 and adjured the third order of merit and the Tactics prize holder of the Intake. After successful completion of the training, enrolled to Sri Lanka Army Signal Corps as a Second Lieutenant in June 1996 and engaged as a Platoon Commander and a Brigade Signal Officer in the field of communication.
