Native Circle is an independent research and development initiative aiming to re-construct the agricultural Eco-system from conventional model to the much needed natural/traditional method... Sensitizing, Creating awareness, Educating, and Value addition are the core values for us since its inception.Started with individual efforts, the initiative soon gained traction and attracted both novice & experienced practitioners and volunteers from across the state who have selflessly joined their hands with me in;1. Identifying the best practices and practitioners - and profiling them. 2. Conducting workshops & Symposiums across the different clusters and locally relevant topics (Predominantly in Karnataka, and also in AP & Maharashtra) and also in documenting the whole efforts. 3. Designing, Developing and executing the plans in - sensitizing, creating awareness and educating people about the need for transition from conventional practices to the deep rooted and value based natural/traditional methodologies. (All these works were predominantly carried out with the whole-hearted support of individuals who came forward for a cause) With an overwhelming response to our three-tier work, we extended our horizon to a private research and value addition projects (typically a supplementary income source). Today, Native Circle is directly working with over 100 natural and organic certified farmers, involved with a community of over 8000 people and has its own Research & development facility. We are working on over 30 value added products. We aim to leverage technology in building both producer and consumer end, develop a transparent Eco-system and more importantly become at least a small knot in weaving in the inevitable change...
