Uunchai (उँचाई) is a fully funded six-week virtual project-based learning summer program organized by the FountED Foundation in collaboration with student mentors from prestigious universities in the USA and Nepal, including Harvard, UPenn, Duke, Vanderbilt, F&M, Lehigh, Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Institute of Engineering (IOE). During the program, students will be chosen by mentors and organizers and assigned to teams based on their interests. Throughout the six weeks, selected students (referred to as cohorts) will work on their projects under the guidance of their assigned mentors. Upon completion of the project, recommended students will have the opportunity to intern at partner companies.

▫️ Working with the Assistant Dean of Science & Technology to add and integrate new features into the open-source RevBayes software, enhancing its functionality for improved gene tree analysis.▫️Conducting research to identify and develop innovative features that improve the software's capabilities in modeling, simulation, and Bayesian inference.▫️Utilizing programming languages such as C++, R, and Java to implement and optimize new functionalities.▫️Contributing to the development and maintenance of the WrightLab website to support our research and community outreach.

▪️ Expertly mentor college students in mastering and refining their proficiency in Finite Mathematics, Applied Algebra, and College Algebra.▪️ Dynamically partner with esteemed professors and instructors to elevate teaching capabilities and foster a sustainable, eco-friendly atmosphere within the Math Lab.

Nepal E-Education Riser (NEER) is a non-profit organization working to promote e-education and share educational resources, and opportunities among students in Nepal for free.🔹Published 5 apps that are being used by more than 5000+ students all over Nepal with 15100+ user downloads.🔹Collaborated with 12+ schools to promote e-education on a school basis, and we are working on several other projects to reach more students and schools.🔹5 volunteers are actively working to develop new apps to promote e-education in Nepal and make every piece of knowledge accessible to everyone for no cost.

🔺Conducted audience analysis and research, employing surveys and cost-benefit analysis to develop strategic, cost-effective marketing for Incubate Nepal 8-week Project-Based Fellowship (Data Analysis, Excel).🔺 Monitored and managed the project budget using tools like Excel and Word Docs, ensuring the proposed solution remained within the allocated range.🔺 Assisted in the implementation of the strategic planning phase, utilizing tools like Ms-Teams for task tracking and Canva for quality graphics content.🔺Designed social media graphics and content for digital marketing of Incubate Nepal's 8-week program,🔺Conducted Learn & War session in Far Western Nepal 3 districts to give an insight into Incubate Nepal and promote project-based learning, reaching 260 students.

🔺Selected among the cohorts of 30 cohorts from an 800+ applicants pool (Acceptance Rate 3.7%)🔺Worked in a group of 6 in Team Aasha under the guidance of Middlebury, MIT, and Harvard graduates.🔺Developed the entire app for Project AASHA, which worked to make an accessible & filterable database of mental health professionals including the nearest mental health center and many other options.🔺Survey 1000+ Adolescents for their Mental Health Status to work on the app's features accordingly.
