Letter Corresponding to party & Transporter, LR Declaration, Insurance for Marine Transit Policy etc.CUSTODY ACTIVITIES : Receipt & issue of material through SRV, MRN & SIV, Warehousing and storage, Preservation, Physical stock verification (accounting of material, receipt and issue), Scrap and surplus disposal & identification of non-moving and slow-moving items and initiation of action for their disposal.PHYSICAL STOCK VERIFICAITON : To ensure the physical balance of stocks tally with the balance appearing in the Cardex / PSL., Receipt, Issue & Stock in hand have been accounted correctly, Indentify slow moving or non-moving items, and to authenticate the correctness of the value of inventory shown in the balance sheet & stores.
