To maintain revenue focus on a continuous basis through team motivation, customized MIS & Business Contingency. Engagement with senior management to develop strategic client insights and business plans.Evaluating proposals to meet organizational return and policy requirements. Also, responsible for monitoring and generating early warning signals for potentially weak credits.Portfolio management through effective compliance and audit focus. Part of the core mid market strategy team of the bank in India. Was instrumental in institutionalizing pan India Initiatives in the customer segment for example developing a synergistic association with the Private Bank.Deeply networked into the India Banking & Financial Services circle thereby contributing towards distribution of credit. Have worked / closed various transactions including Senior & Mezz Debt, Loan Syndication, HY Bond, ECA backed funding and Project Finance.

Built up the Mid Corporate desk of the bank in Eastern India from a Nil base.

Reporting directly to Country Head – Corporate Banking and Country Head – Financial Markets.Headed the biggest branch of ING Vysya Bank in Eastern India alongwith the above responsibilities from Apr’03 – Dec’04. Key Responsibilities included handling a team of more than 15 people, Increase the size and profitability of the branch, Increase cross sell & to change the inside culture of the branch more service oriented.Involved in credit appraisal including presentation to Executive Credit Committee, disbursement, monitoring of loans and cross selling of various other products of the bank.Major Corporate Clients – ITC, Coal India, Exide, Paharpur, Electrosteel, ABP, Simplex Concrete, Srei Infrastructure, Kesoram, Shree Cement, Balmer Lawrie, Graphite, Berger Paints, Greenply Industries etc.Credited with achieving 100% yoy growth in total business of the branch and achieving more than 50% growth in corporate credit portfolio of the bank in Eastern India in a short span of time.
