Wingly is a flight sharing website and connects pilots and passengers. Private pilots can add flights they have planned on our website, then potential passengers can easily book via our system. Besides flights to a destination, there is also a huge range of short and long discovery flights. The concept is similar to a carpooling platform and stunningly affordable. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO - Award winning robotics team competing in EurobotEurobot is an international autonomous robotics competition celebrating it’s 25th year anniversary of promoting fun, technology, creativity, education and passion. Each year the theme of the competition changes. Students, teams and societies have to design, build and program robots to score as many points as possible within a 100 second timeframe.Several members of staff from Product Design, Design Engineering and Computer Science organise the competition and are the National Organising Committee for the UK heats. Participate in promoting Middlesex University to prospective postgraduate students throughout their journey to university, providing in-depth insight into the students’ course of interest and what it’s like to be a student at Middlesex. Raising awareness, driving postgraduate applications and encouraging and inspiring prospects to choose Middlesex as their firm university and to enroll with us.

Student Voice Leaders represent their coursemates, and have the power to make change on their course and at Middlesex University more widely. At the start of each academic year, all students will elect a Student Voice Leader to represent their year of their course. Being a Student Voice Leader is an incredible opportunity to be part of a thriving student leader community and work closely with the University and Students' Union to create changes that students want to see.

As a recent graduate the university offered me an internship for the summer. The project was to design a new and more interesting way of teaching LabVIEW to first year students.

MY ROLEWorking on my own initiative as well as a team to maintain and improving the effective day to day running of properties throughout London and UK.Responsibilities to include:• Ensuring all facilities provided are running effectively, cutting costs wherever possible and to research and introduce extra facilities thus increasing our monthly revenue.• Maintenance of properties as well as refurbishment projects. • Ensuring property is compliant with current regulations and legislations.• Buying stationary / office furniture / equipment / materials.• Dealing with rent collections, restructure and increases.• Report to Directors with schedules detailing income on a quarterly basis.• Using Property Management Software for tenant’s records and invoicing.• Keeping tenant and staff records, attendance records, cleaning and maintenance schedules / rotas. • Dealing with the council & valuation office as well as other local businesses building good working relationships.Marketing and advertising our company and facilities as well as to research competitors.• Advertising campaigns. • Maintaining an online / web presence. • Designing of property brochures and website.• Liaising with agents and local development agencies. • Organising open days and business events/seminars.• Initiated incentive / introduction schemes for both staff and agents.

Student Learning Assistants are experienced students who have been identified by their academic tutors as being highly motivated and capable learners who "have been there before" and know the typical academic issues new students face in their studies. They work in lectures, seminars, workshops and small group sessions to assist students in their learning. SLAs do not teach students but are fully trained to work with students using effective questioning and active listening methods . They work collaboratively with academic staff, supporting students in small groups and one-to-one, in the classroom and in pre-arranged locations in the university.
