I edited all articles for the school newspaper, The Etownian, based on grammar, punctuation, and AP Style. I worked closely with the other editors to ensure that everything complies to AP Style, proper formatting, and deadlines.

The Learning Zone at Etown is where you can find academic coaching, tutors, and disability services. As a front desk coordinator, I served as a communicator between students and staff via email, telephone, and in-person conversation. This included guiding students and staff through tutoring and testing procedures, resolving scheduling conflicts between tutors/tutees, and ensuring that documents are properly saved and filed.Update: As of the fall semester of 2023, after our Learning Zone manager retired, the student coordinators took on much more managerial roles. We were also responsible for student employee training (for new coordinators and tutors), organizing record information, forming tutoring groups, and acting as a point of communication between students, our staff, and professors.

I used my skills and experience as an English major to help other students edit their class work and learn how to improve their writing skills.

This internship involved me editing and providing feedback on Gutter Enterprise's bi-monthly magazine. I typically received between 10-15 articles per month via email, which I then edited and discussed with the supervisor. My edits addressed grammar, punctuation, formatting, spelling, and content when needed.

I researched and wrote articles about adoption that are published on various affiliated websites, including Adoption.com, Adoption.org, and Adopting.org.

I wrote multiple articles for the school newspaper, The Etownian, as part of a project for my Multimedia Journalism course.
