Support and manage daily drilling activities for a large drilling campaign in Upper shuiba project.

Achievements:  Delivered some best wells in the whole project beating KPI and target time. Achived 3 years LTI free record. Reduced NPT from 20 % to less than 8 % by significant reduction in flat time and improving Rig KPI.Job Roes: Supervise drilling activities with in a large drilling campaign in Upper Shuiba field. Horizontal well drilling and Geo-Steering through narrow thickness reservoirs. Execute well drilling activities in accordance with the 'approved' Drilling Program. Lead safety performance towards Incident free work environment. Maintain well control polices and standards for both equipment and operation procedures.  Drill through loss and blind zones. Follow HSE case and well control plans. Minimize NPT through proper QA/QC and pre job planning.

- Drilled Conventional, HPHT , highly deviated wells through western desert (Deep gas wells in Karam Concession and BTE consession).- Drilled exploration and Horizontal gas wells in Obayed concession.- Practiced well control principles through critical well control situations.( killed many wells under well control policy)- Applications of shell well control manual and policies.- Loss / gain formation problem.- Drilled blind through complete loss zone.- Cure severe losses with LCM and CMT plugs. - Drilling through depleted reservoir.- Run free point indicator & string shot for stuck pipe operation.- Free differential stuck pipe by underbalanced well with limited pressure drop.- Tripping through long active problematic shale section up to 800 m.- Squeeze cements jobs.- Run different types of completion (Straddle PKR, TCP, ESP and Gas lift )- Perform sand plugs, gravel back operations.- Supervise the onshore drilling activities and ensure operations are performed safely and efficiently and in accordance with the agreed drilling program.- Mange to all drilling operation and delivered many top quartile and BIC wells (shell reference).- Drive continuous improvement in safety aspects of rig operations by initiating protective programs and instruction matched with company policies. - Drill oil and gas wells with CO2 and H2S content, Shallow and deep wells, HPHT and High-pressure tight gas wells. - Vertical, deviated and horizontal wells.- Prepare all the casing running list and cement calculations for most of casing and liner sizes- Work with problems as well control / complete loss / stuck pipe / fishing / side tracking…etc- Run completion strings, preparing the tally and running list, well testing and hydraulic fracturing.

- Plan, prepare, design complete drilling programs for two super rigs which include and not- limited to casing design, drill string design, bit selections, mud programs, and directional plans.- Prepare AFE, pre spud meeting, suspension and abandonment programs.- Follow up rigs operations and communicate with the rig regularly and during problems.- Arrange meetings with service providers and append new technologies and select moreeconomical solutions.- Quick decision making for urgent and critical situations.- Coordinates well operations with Drilling Contractor, and Third Parties to ensure compliancewith work programs, project procedures and contract requirements- Prepares 24-hour look ahead document with Rig supervisors. Presentation skills: Well Pre Spud, Well Review, Quarter and Operational Review Presentation.- Plan and prioritize rig activities and allocate resources accordingly.- Supervise all contractors involved in rig operations.- Mentor and train junior engineers.- Work on Land mark Package: (Well plan, Stress Check, Compass, Open Wells)

- Work over well control for life wells (Bull heading, reverse kill, lubrication …).- Testing & fixing failed well integrity (scab liner, casing patch, squeeze cement…).- Complete well with ESP, Complete the well with S/R pump.- Running and retrieving all types of completions, Farc operation on rig, Coiled Tubing and Wire Line - - Perform different types of frac operations ( Conventional and HI-way frac), perform CT post frac cleanout.- Perform TCP jobs.

- Responsible for night operations at the rig site (desert) , Drilling through depleted reservoir.- Drilling and completing gas and oil wells (medium and deep wells – vertical and deviated).- Run free point indicator & string shot to free stuck pipe.- Cement Calculations for all type and sizes of both casing and liners.- Well Killing operation, prepare the kill sheet and applied.- Free differential stuck pipe by underbalanced well with limited pressure drop.- Tripping through long active problematic shale section up to 1100 m.

Field roles:- Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Driller during drilling, work over andcompletion operations.- Ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe manner in accordance with safety policies andprocedures. Responsible for correcting and/or notifying responsible person of any unsafe acts orconditions which exist.- Attend and participate in pre-tour, post tour, special operations and weekly safety meetings.- Under supervision of the Driller, control actual drilling operations, depending on formationsencountered, drilling efficiency, and problems encountered.- Under supervision of the Driller, make trips as necessary to change bits, tools, and drill string length.Report any unusual occurrences encountered such as rate of penetration, mud weight, loss of- Circulation or other changes in hole condition to Driller.Office roles: Assistant rig manager trainee: - Stay in daily contact with the representative(s) of the Operator and ensure that they are correctly informed about all matters concerning the operations related to the rig on contract.- Be well acquainted with the relevant national and international acts and regulations in respect of the operations of the rig. Particular attention shall be paid to the regulations regarding working environment, the protection of the outer environment, emergency preparedness, and safety in general. - Check and follow up all reports and correspondence from the rig, and ensure that they are acted upon and replied to as necessary. - Ensure that necessary materials and equipment are ordered and shipped to the rig, as required.- When requested, participate in the planning of the activities; managing the interest of MCN in respect of the obligations to the Client. - Identify and realize business potential in the contract and operation. - Review the various operational equipment requirements in light of current technology and regulatory requirements, and make recommendations accordingly.
