Applying the required precautions for hot works as major source of hazards presents in shutdown activities. -Guiding the supervisors to perform the required tasks safely.-Supervision of Housekeeping to keep areas safe and cleanAttend continuous professional development and educational program and courses, where available.Promote the "Zero Accident" Philosophy.Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable ES&H requirements.-Provide information to employees regarding their emergency response duties. -Advice employees of hazard conditions/concerns or near miss incidents. -Study the entire ES&H plan for the site Review, inspect, & inventory all the types of monitoring equipment to be used and verify the calibration, use, and documentation requirements Evaluate and order ES&H equipment and recommend PPE Personal Protective Equipment as required. -Verify and update all required ES&H postings, warnings and signs applicable to the project work/hazards.-Ensure that emergency numbers, including physicians and hospital locations, are valid and posted, and these emergency services have access to the field site As certain that utility clearances are in place and excavations permits are approved Perform routine air monitoring as necessary Ensure that MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) are requested with every purchase order involving chemicals or chemical substance
