Despite the short period I spent with ECO-Beirut, I had a rich and diverse experience. Within that period, I played an important role in the company's development towards in-demand market technologies and trends. As a result of the overlapping technical and managerial roles, I had a well-rounded experience where I:▪ Designed solar panels' steel frames.▪ Prepared tender document for solar panels bid proposal.▪ Reviewed the structural drawings of 2 different projects.▪ Designed vertical RC elements, RC beams, GFRP reinforced columns and post-tensioned slabs.▪ Calculated the BOQ and reviewed the specifications of GFRP reinforcement and rock bolts.▪ Guided the implementation of 3 online courses covering site safety, post-tension slabs design, and vertical elements design.▪ Researched the use of self-drilling rock bolts, bat anchor bolts, etc.Most Related Software: RAM Concept, ETABS, Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Robot Structural Analysis.

A 10-weeks full stack web development boot camp-style internship in partnership with LAU Innovation center during the summer of 2020. Through the internship, I worked on 20+ projects, starting with a professional resume website and ending with a fully compatible admin dashboard. On August 4th, a catastrophic explosion at Beirut's port occurred, displacing over 300,000 individuals. As a response, I worked on a donation website proposal for Renovate Beirut's fundraising initiative to help raise funds for those whose homes were affected by the blast.

During my training period, I reviewed the execution plans, elevations and sections for the residential concrete building. I also participated in the supervision of different construction activities including the implementation of reinforced concrete, block works, and electrical installation works. At the end of the training, I dedicated my time to draft a guide of 25 pages to introduce entry-level site engineers to different types of construction methods, preliminary concrete tests’ guidelines and site language.

June 2016 - Aug 2016 . 3 mosIn the summers of 2016 and 2017, I partnered with my younger brother to reopen my father's hardware store after he relocated to a new area. Our role was to fully organize the store, research on-demand products, contact suppliers, and deal with clients. Since most of our customers were construction workers, I consider this experience a tremendous added value to my knowledge of my major.
