Some of the duties involved:Overseeing design and construction activities.Trouble shooting and problem solving with emphasis on providing a customer focused professional service and building relations with Main Contractors, Consultants and Clients in the process.Management of Quality, Operations, and Safety documentation.Helping in an overall quality enhancement drive within the company.Overseeing all communications, and reporting on all issues.

The department is the regulatory authority for Dubai World projects and projects within the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation. Some of the tasks undertaken are:Developed the Accreditation Program working with an outsourced third party and brought the program from scratch to a well developed and reputed program.Improved the quality of the Department's Codes with direct input in every code.Worked with the Permits various sections to develop their work procedures, leading to better efficiency at work and smoother interaction with clients.Provided vital input into the Green Buildings initiative within Trakhees and acted as a resource to the Department's staff in this regard.
