Assist QNRF Executive Director in implementing QNRF vision and mission for the existing and any future support activities; supervise the execution of QNRF strategic plans as set by the QNRF. Manage QNRF budget and supervise the financial commitment, grants contracts and agreements, financial compliance, communications and events, Online Systems (QGrants) and Procurement activities.

To lead and oversee the Qatar Foundation Research & Development (QF R&D) planning and execution in the areas of Finance, Compliance, IT and Procurement and any existing or future support activities. This will include all QF R&D entities.

Highlights:• Member of the QNRF Directors’ Committee (DC), the highest committee in the QNRF Internal Decision Making Process.• Part of the Qatar Foundation Research and Development Sustainable Management System (RDSMS) Development Team. • Developing a strategic road-map for the day-to-day functioning of various operational aspects related to financial administration and compliance, technology deployment, and public relations.• Providing appropriate direction and solid strength to QNRF Operations, with focus on consistently delivering pre-defined goals and objectives of the organizations.• Collaborating with the executive management team to discuss and formulate short, mid, and long-term business plans in alignment with the broader vision and mission of the firm.• Deploying several performance measurement and supervision frameworks, evaluating ongoing operations through highly customized KPIs, and conducting periodic reviews to take necessary action against non-performance.• Maintaining coordination with other directors for the seamless and streamlined functioning of all departments, in an effort to achieve growth and progress.• Approving and implementing key workplace policies that are to be adhered with by all staff members / managers, in order to create a positive and sustainable office environment.• Rendering consultancy and guidance to the organization in relation with research and development projects, new technology integration, process re-engineering, workforce skill enhancement, and financial planning / budgeting.• Interacting with respective heads and senior managers of all departments in order to understand their operational requirements and define their performance expectations.• Delivering keynote addresses at social events, meetings, and other corporate functions.
