As the principal, I lead teachers and staff, set goals and ensure students meet their learning objectives. Overseeing my school’s day-to-day operations means handling disciplinary matters, managing a budget and hiring teachers and other personnel.Logistics, schedules, teacher and staff evaluations, and public relations fall under the purview of school principals. As principal, I typically work out of an office in your school’s main building. I often sit in on classes, host school assemblies, attend off-site meetings and represent their school at conferences and local or regional events.

The English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides a foundation of English language skills to talented 13-20 year-olds from economically disadvantaged sectors through after-school classes and intensive sessions. Access gives participants English skills that may lead to better jobs and educational prospects. Participants also gain the ability to compete for and participate in future exchanges and study in the United States.Since its inception in 2004, approximately 95,000 students in more than 85 countries have participated in the Access Program.Key responsibilities :• Conducting placement and exit tests for enrolling students in the English program.• Selecting appropriate textbooks and materials that reach the English program objectives.• Developing a course syllabus that clearly outlines the topics of the classes and expectations of the students• Designing evaluation materials to properly assess student's progress in accordance with the benchmarks established at the start of the program• Conducting student assessments on a monthly basis.• Submit progress reports according to the schedule established by the Provider Ensure student portfolios are filed, accessible and frequently updated• Monitoring and regularly updating dossiers of the students' attendance and notifying the coordinator of students' progress through monthly written reports

Developing academic programs, establishing performance goals and objectives for schools and for teachers and keeping records. I am also monitoring students' progress, keeping teachers trained and motivated, formulate mission statements, visit classrooms to evaluate teaching methods and provide performance standards for teachers and other employees.
