I handled over 320 Tenders (Domestic and International) with assorted applications and categories (Commercial, Residential, Hospital, school, Industrial, Infrastructure …etc.) achieving an average 16.23% hit rate.In addition to leading the procurement engineers, oversee all procurement processes according to company policy.I am Managing the below Activities - Study all tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ, and any related documents)- Prepare RFI (Request for information) or queries for any data missing or conflict within tender documents.- Sites visit to evaluate the existing conditions.- Prepare Requests for Quotations RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers and subcontractors. - Prepare both technical and commercial comparisons. - Review/ study both technical and commercial quotations from subcontractors to ensure it matches project requirements. - Negotiate the terms of supplier and subcontractor contracts. - Cost breakdown for the project's mechanical items.- Propose a value engineering insights that may reduce the tender’s budget.- Receive PR (Purchase request) of the approved materials. - Prepare and process PO (purchase orders) or subcontracts to the approved vendor/ supplier. - Negotiate POs’ (purchase orders) terms with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain optimum cost, terms, etc. - Prepare and process suppliers’ letters of intent (if needed). - Prepare submittals for consultant’s/client’s approval in line with the selected vendor/ supplier as per the department standards. - Follow up with the procurement specialist in releasing the payments and the logistical procedures. - Work with other team members to accomplish objectives and the department KPI’s. - Attend meetings, conferences, conventions and seminars necessary to network with others involved in the procurement process (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to improve the Procurement Department function and effectiveness.
