Nevy's Language is an online platform that connects learners and teachers of the English language for online English classes.

Conducted workshops on a multitude of topics in settlement and integration of refugee newcomers to audiences of 80-90 private and faith-based sponsor groups on a semi-regular basis. Coordinated the delivery of settlement services to Syrian refugees across the GTA; executed small-scale initiatives and projects in response to unmet needs in areas of economic empowerment. Built the Syria Project Volunteer Program by recruiting, training and managing 150+ volunteers to address Syrian refugee and sponsor needs; developed Excel database to manage requests, measure KPIs and report on results. Developed knowledge transfer strategy on topics by conducting 100+ workshops and information sessions to various stakeholders and maintaining an online hub

Reviewed, inspected and summarized quality assurance and control non-conformances of multiple contractor scopes of work on a data centre project, and ensured appropriate follow-up and resolution. Maintained daily checklists, reports and communication as part of company quality processes. Prepared subcontractor tender packages including scopes of work, terms and conditions. Hosted pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs for subcontractor estimators and superintendents. Performed post bid analysis and bid awarding on several scopes of work. Tracked work for change orders and issued updated manhours completion as well as forecast to project team. Utilized scheduling software and communication with team members and Project and Construction Manager to create, maintain and update a level 4 project schedule as per scheduling best practices. Continuously issued schedule updates, analyzed schedule for gaps and presented options for expediting. Assisted Safety Manager in setting up company-wide health and safety system and policy. Performed daily walk-throughs and weekly inspections, reported non-safe practices, wrote incident reports, communicated issues with contractor superintendents and foremen and followed up on items to ensure rectification and compliance with company policy. Created, maintained and updated CWPs as per changes from design teams. Communicated changes to contractors, issued updated drawings and facilitated RFI and Change Order processes.

Drafted test setups and test models for over ten different research proposals for Jerome Hajjar, Ph.D. using Revit Structure 2012, AutoCAD 2011. Coordinated with several post-docs at elite institutions across the U.S to investigate applications of steel foam and other non-commerical construction materials. Inspected the million dollar concrete strong floor of the George J. Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security for construction defects.

Performed inspections of major public infrastructure including MassDOT roadways, bridges and I-93 tunnels. Wrote detailed inspection reports reporting deficiencies, ratings and up to date status of said infrastructure. Reviewed shop drawings of several bridges prior to inspecting and writing reports. Coordinated several weekend tours of the four historical bridges of Boston for high school students as part of a community outreach program.

Coordinated with architects and engineers to inspect and correct errors of framing plans of several multimillion dollar commercial concrete and steel building projects.
