A commercial-focused energy professional with a technical background, currently a Business Development Manager at Hystar, a leading PEM electrolyser equipment manufacturer. I have a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCL, with a strong background in renewable energy systems, alternative fuels and infrastructure project development/finance, driven by a passion for net zero and sustainability.In my current role, I lead the business development efforts for the Middle East and Africa region, where I am responsible for strategic partnerships, large-scale equipment sales, and investor relations. I also support the product development team on the rollout of our innovative large-scale electrolyser offering, the Orion Modules, through collaboration with EPCs and system integrators. Previously, I was an Applications Engineer at Hystar, where I led the sales and commercial activities in key geographies, such as Europe, USA, and MEA, and built the technical documentation for our commercial electrolyser systems. I also conducted market research on hydrogen consumers and producers across various applications, such as mobility, refineries, steel, and ammonia, and provided project feasibility input to customers. Prior to joining Hystar, I was a Corporate Strategy Analyst at IACC Holdings, an investment company in the shipping and logistics sector, where I worked on strategic projects and a roadmap for diversification at the HoldCo level. The opportunities presented were focused on alternative energy, commodity storage and other logistics-adjacent sectors.
