Managing a rural medical unit with 20 staff member serving nearly 10.000 people. Responsibilities were Family medicine services including managing common cases, follow-up of chronic patients, being part of the active referral system, organizing obligatory and optional immunization campaigns. Performing routine physical examination to all children in the surrounding schools. Providing the local community with designed health education programs included lectures about common diseases in the community such as hypertension and diabetes, door to door awareness and free check up events. Finally, conducting health surveillance of the water supplies and sewage system.

Responsibilities were rotating with three different attending in Hem/Onc and BMT department. Share in the morning table round by presenting one case and discuss the workup plan and treatment options with the attending and the fellow before rounding over the patient in the grand round. Attending the weekly Professor round every Monday and the monthly Hem/Onc/BMT staff meeting. Observing several procedures: lumbar puncture, bone marrow aspirate and bone marrow biopsy in the operating room. Finally, attending the outpatient clinic and share in the discussion of the patient's future workup and treatment options.

Rotating with the attending during the consultation service and participating in discussions regarding further workup and treatment options. Attending the main and satellite Pulmonary clinics, Sharing incases workup plan and treatment options. Observing various procedures like bronchoscopy and lung biopsy. Attending the weekly grand round every Thursday. Attending the weekly meeting of Pulmonary department every Friday. Giving a presentation about the physiology of respiratory muscle decline in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Observing the attending in the ED during history taking and physical examination. Participating indiscussions regarding further workup and treatment options. Observing various procedures like throat swab, occult blood sampling, splinting, lumbar puncture, bedside U/S and Echocardiography. Attending weekly ED conference and actively participate in the discussion of interesting cases and board review question answering.
