This led to project delivery 14 days ahead of schedule.• Managed 3 projects in the same area and effectively used the company’s equipment in all of them which resulted in reducing the equipment hiring cost by 15% than the estimated cost for this item.• Finalized the Elliptical-shaped bridge and handed it over to the military engineering authority 21 days before the deadline. This led to winning the another tender for a major national infrastructure project.

Responsibilities • Coordinating construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications• Reviewing the bar bending schedule and reinforcing drawings. Making adjustments according to the constructability review• Responsible for steel prefabrication and pre-cast elements• Developing and monitoring KPI’s and productivity analysis against program and budget• Day to day management of project construction activities for the civil scope of work• Creating Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for specific trades.• Communicating in weekly meetings with project manager and stakeholders, consistently monitoring staff performance on site, mitigating risks and avoiding delays to keep project fully operational and on schedule to completion.• Reporting project progress performance levels to Projects Area Manager and implementing improvements as necessary for optimum quality standards.Key achievements•Trained and mentored the company supervisors and laborers to handle structural works (Formwork and steel fixing works) instead of using a subcontractor. This resulted in saving 20% of the concrete works cost while keeping the project on schedule and maintaining the required qualities.• Inspected and monitored the construction of high-rise buildings ensuring adherence and achieved zero safety incidents throughout the 48 months of the projects’ durations.

Started as site engineer in 2007. Promoted over the years to project engineer then to senior project engineer, Oversaw and supervised several industrial projects and urban projects including structural and finishing scope such as household utilities factories, 3 mega textile factories for a multinational company (Levi’s) and 2 glass-wool factories in the industrial free zone in Burj al Arab, Alexandria as well as leading infrastructure projects (road & bridges).
