- Planning and implementing activities related to the area of the training of teachers and of the school managerial staff of MoETE’s TVET institutions - Supporting in the development of the Egyptian standard of teachers and of the school staff in cooperation with the MoETE and other development partners - Cooperating with a broad range of target groups at the national and regional level including teachers, trainers, school management staff, and the private sector representatives regarding their capacity development - Coordinating with other outputs within TCTI and across GIZ projects and development organizations regarding teachers’ training implementation - Carrying out the desk research required for planning and implementing relevant activities - Assisting in carrying out tasks related to communication and visibility of activities for the output - Coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating activities and results related to the component - Integrating digitalisation activities into the output’s intervention - Steering short-term national and international consultants

- Lead the monitoring and reporting for the ‘Transition to Employment’ component activities and services. - Implement the component activities and career advisory service; entrepreneurship.- Closely coordinate with counterparts in the Ministry of Education, and provide technical support as needed- Provide capacity building to project partners

- Managed the implementation of Tawasol project for supporting Syrian children in accessing quality education in Greater Cairo and Sharkeya- Ensured well-functioning M&E systems and proper budget planning and implementation in alignment with the project objectives- Built and fostered relationships with partners in the Ministry of Education and the communities- Represented Plan International in interagency working groups meetings

- Implemented the Leadership in Action program- Designed and planned civic engagement and leadership activities- Led the documentation, data collection and reporting of the program activities- Led the identification of new partnerships with individuals and organizations from a diversity of sectors- Closely coordinated with partners and service providers in planning and implementing activities as well as reporting and documentation

- Planned, initiated, and facilitated program activities such as:o Strategic Planning Meetings for Major Youth Organizations in Egypt (Nov 2015)o International Volunteer Day (Dec 2015)o Capacity building training for 40 grassroots organizations in Cairo and Alexandria (Mar 2016)o First National Forum for Volunteerism (Mar 2016)- Mapped and offered inputs and insights relevant to youth needs and potential areas for development using solid research, youth network, and studies conducted on the region - Managed relationship with the programme’s stakeholders in the Government, civil society, volunteer organizations, the private sector, academic institutions as well as youth initiatives and individual volunteers- Prepared periodical progress reports in coordination with the UNV Programme Officer and deliver final reports to the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Arab States- Liaised regularly with field units in other countries to share experience and measure progress
