After joining to AIG as full time employee, I managed the following projects:• Northern Cyprus AIG Insurance Systems Project:The project delivered AIG insurance products to Northern Cyprus with HSBC as Business Partner. By this project, AIG represented in Northern Cyprus and gathered a good portion of the market share in one year. • Insurance data transfer to SBM (Insurance Information Centre): Turkish Treasury requests that all insurance data to be delivered to SBM. With this project, insurance data of AIG’s Fire Insurance Products transferred to SBM according to the newly defined Common Data Model template. By this project, AIG fulfilled a regulatory requirement.• Sanction Data Screening: Based on US and AIG Sanction Screening Policies, AIG Turkey’s live insurance data extracted according to the data format and content defined by AIG UK Sanctions team. By this project, AIG fulfilled a critical AIG Global regulatory requirement.• AIG Agencies’ Static IP Control: Turkish Treasury requests that Insurance Agencies must access to Insurance Company systems only through Static IP(s) registered at TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey). By this project development done for downloading Agencies’ Static IP data from TOBB to AIG Insurance Systems, and controlling access of AIG agencies only through registered IP(s) to AIG Insurance Systems. By this project, AIG fulfilled a critical regulatory requirement.

Being a consultant PM, I was responsible for Project Management of three web based, multi-site (Turkey, USA, Philippines, India and Poland) software developments for enhancing AIG Turkey’s insurance systems:• DREA2MS, Direct Response Administration, Analytics and Marketing System:This was a Web based insurance platform development project for Turkish market. The project provided several tools to AIG to automate and manage insurance operations. With this platform, AIG managed marketing campaigns more effectively, transferred policies written by Outsource Service Providers (OSP) and Third Party Agencies (TPA) much quicker, tracked and collected policy premiums more effectively.• E-Commerce Web Site for Turkish Market:This was a Web based insurance system development project for AIG for Turkish market. The project provided a Web interface to end customers for purchasing AIG’s Personal Lines insurance products on-line. This platform increased AIG Turkey’s visibility in the digital market.• QuickStart!: This was an Analytical CRM (Customer Relationship Management) project for AIG for Turkish market. The project provided a data Warehouse to keep customer’s and potential customer’s data for Analytical CRM. With this platform, AIG generated marketing and operational data reports more conveniently and made use of them for more effective marketing campaigns.

Worked for Software Research and Development in Telecommunication in the following roles: • Technical Project Manager: ‘CS2KA GWC on Blade H/W’ was a multi-site, multi-domain, large and complex software project. With this project, the existing Gateway Controller (GWC) software was migrated from Power PC based H/W to Linux based Intel blade (on Nortel Networks’/ GENBAND’s GENiUS/aTCA platform). This project increased the capacity of Nortel’s/GENBAND’s GWC peripheral modules capacity by 4, but kept the total cost about the same as legacy GWC. This highly visible product was one of the main considerations during the acquisition of Nortel’s Switching Division by GENBAND US.• Software Development, Verification and Sustaining Team People Manager.• Design and Product Support Manager of several medium to large size/complexity software development projects.
