In an era where globalization is omnipresent, health equity seems to be deteriorating. Access to appropriate healthcare has become a luxury rather than necessity. Due to the complex nature of health disparities, in addition to growing pharmaceutical dependence, fundamental issues of impoverished communities are often overlooked.I am determined to use my Masters with a Global Health Systems specialization in combination with my undergraduate knowledge and skills regarding biological and psychological health to become a Global Health Leader. I am dedicated to working alongside private and public organizations in order eliminate poverty as a barrier to accessing healthcare. Combating complex health issues requires an interdisciplinary holistic approach in order to provide sustainable long-term solutions for people living in the worst conditions across the world. I aim to cultivate an environment of health by advocating for healthy public policy, building supportive communities, and improving health literacy.
