My duties: - Assist with the arrangement of window displays and general store layout.- Assist customers in identifying choice products, providing product information and offering advice on products that’ll best meet set requirements.- Update customer records in the company database as required.- Provide customers with after sales services and warranty agreements.- Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company.- maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and services so as to effectively conduct sales with customers.- Monitor displayed products to facilitate replenishment of emptying shelves.- Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time.- Report any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Account Manager immediately.- Work closely with retail sales managers to ensure sales targets are achieved.- Evaluate stock inventory to determine the need for new shipments or product order.- Collect cash payments and process credit card transactions for the purchase of goods.- Receive new shipments and ensure proper storage of excess stock.- Handle cases of product return, refund or exchange.- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of store products and services in order to effectively conduct sales.- Oversee the upkeep, maintenance and general cleanliness of a store and it’s premises.- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.- Can do attitude.

After finishing my full-time role with Ghadamian, I have been working for the business on a causal basis as per business needs. I organise photography shoots, prepare styling, manage Instagram and social media marketing for this contemporary rug wholesaler.

I was promoted to work in operations, account management, sales, and buying whilst continuing my creative role for the business. Ghadamian & Co is a high-end rug wholesaler established for over 30 years in Melbourne, supplying modern and contemporary rugs to the interior design sector. Duties included:· Completing all business administration.· Account management and sales.· Chanel distributor management (retail and ecommerce).· Marketing and promotions (strategy & execution, digital, social media and trade shows). · Supplier relationship management and buying.· Catalogue graphic design.· New product selection and merchandising.· Website management including design and a full redevelopment.

In this role, I was responsible for all graphic design and developed a new contemporary visual identify for the business. Duties included:· Developing a new brand, logo and visual identity.· Developing and delivering all business design requirements and assets.· Designing the annual catalogue. · Managing social media marketing · Managing the website.· Photoshoot production planning and management. · Post-production photo editing.

I was employed as a Sales Professional during Christmas, focused on providing exceptional customer experience to ensure an unforgettable shopping experience. Duties included: · Interacting with customers with passion and selling and promoting brands.· Accurately operating the POS system and reconciling the cash register. · Actively encourage customers to sign up to the David Jones Customer Loyalty program. · Providing a strong personal styling guidelines and active listening to fulfill individual’s needs. · Working with logistics and preparing online orders. · Organising and refilling stock across the accessories department.

In this role I was privately employed to provide creative support to develop a new resume to showcase his work and designed a 40-page exhibition catalogue for a major survey exhibition at the Latrobe Regional Gallery, winter 2019.

In this role I worked on two major exhibitions as a tour guide, the Melbourne Winter Masterpiece Exhibition Wallace and Gromit & Friends, The Magic of Aardman and The Screen Worlds. I led tours for students and families providing fun, engaging and informative exhibition information. Additionally, I held workshops for children to make and animate clay characters.

With a background and passion for Art, I worked in the members lounge at the Gallery. This involved meeting and greeting members and providing customer service.

A Council program with a one-day event, program of art and promotional activities to encourage a greener, sustainable and safe community. I was introduced by my University Professor, to support the project with Art and Design. This included designing visual communication material including a poster, flyers, stencil art and mosaics to promote the initiative. Additionally, I interviewed the Steering Committee members to write and publish an article in the “Southern Courier” magazine.
