 Responsible as a Shift Engineer for smooth operation, periodic inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of Plant machinery. Look after Complete maintenance of Reheating Furnace, Rolling Mill Stands and Water treatment plant. Look after Complete maintenance of remote distinct Units like Hydraulics units and lubrication units. Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages. Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately. Work with other professionals in order to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant. Documents all the important activities (preventive maintenance and lubrication) and parameters of the assigned section in the respective soft logbooks. Trains to his junior staff in respective area.
