Key ResponsibilitySourcing expert for an assigned Sourcing Category - Bottoms Denim & Non Denim, Outerwear & TailoredInterface with Merchants, PD&D and Merchandise Planning, Local Sourcing, Vendor Management, Local Team management

• Supervise Denim Bottom team (Team of 1 senior Merchandiser, 3 Merchandisers & 3 assistance Merchandisers & cross functional team- Quality & Sustainable/Compliance dept.)• Supplier capacity planning and performance review (KPI & Scorecard review) after every quarter.• Risk assessment & order follow-up along with the team for smooth & on time delivery with quality standard.• Co-ordinate with quality and compliance team for the related suppliers.• Till now working with 18 suppliers (garment makers) out of that main vendors are Pacific Jeans, S.F. Denim, Pioneer Apparels, Sterling Creation, Al-Muslim Group, Mahmud Jeans, Vintage Denim etc.• Business volume 15.62M, amount US$123M only denim for the last Year to date Mar’15 to Feb’16. • Travelling to Hong Kong & Dusseldorf when required for business meetings.

-Supervise merchandising team (total 3 teams each team 5 persons with 1 team leader)-Sourcing correct factory for correct product as well materials.-Evaluate factory and place the order.-Sourcing raw material like fabric, yarn, trims etc.-Overall responsibility of executing orders and making of all kinds of woven/Circular/heavy knit garments.-Responsible for price quotation for orders.-Take the full responsibility to organize the buyer’s meeting when they are here.-Co-ordinate with compliance team and review suppliers’ compliance status-Brands are: Cubus, Dressmann, Bikbok, Hellence, Stadium, ICA

-Sourcing correct factory for correct product as well materials.-Evaluate factory and place the order.-Sourcing raw material like fabric, yarn, trims etc.-Overall responsibility of executing orders and making of all kinds of woven/Circular/heavy knit garments for Ladies.-Responsible for price quotation for orders, follow up of orders until shipment.-Responsible for day to day communication buying team in head office at Spain-Take the full responsibility to organize the buyer’s meeting when they are here.-Co-ordinate with compliance team and review suppliers’ compliance status. -Visited Stradivarius head office in Spain.

I started my job in H&M as a Merchandiser and from Sept 2005 I have been promoted to Senior Merchandiser for Ladies & Men’s adult woven department. In December 2006 I got the responsibility for the L.O.G.G. concept (Ladies, Men’s, Children & Kid’s woven product). On Feb 2009 I moved to knit dept and got responsible for L.O.G.G. Men’s, Ladies, Bib & Mama concept. My major responsibilities in H&M are so far:•Overall responsibility of executing orders and making of all kinds of woven garments for Ladies like shirts, trousers pants, shorts, jackets, swim wears etc.•Responsible for price quotation for orders, follow up of orders.•Responsible for day to day communication with Sweden Office and Hong Kong Office along with garment makers and suppliers.•Responsible for searching for new potential cost effective and quality suppliers.•Responsible for finding garment makers with sound technical knowledge and quality production capacity.•Handling orders for suppliers from Dhaka and Chittagong.•Assist the team members to formulate operational team strategy to achieve objectives.•Leading and supporting the team by setting the objectives to manage performances, identifying and mitigating development needs.•Sometimes responsible for doing inline and final inspection of garments.•Traveled to Sweden, Hong Kong, Shanghai & Pakistan Office for business meeting when required.
