Senior Research And Insight Manager, Industrial Decarbonisation - Industrial Strategy Challenge FundUk Research And Innovation Sep 2021 - Sep 2024United KingdomThe Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge (IDC) is supporting the UK’s six largest industrial clusters in their mission to decarbonise at scale. The IDC is working together with UK industrial partners to lay the foundation for the development of at least one low-carbon industrial cluster by 2030 and the world’s first net-zero industrial cluster by 2040. The IDC fund provides up to £210 million, matched by £261 million from industry, to invest in developing technologies such as carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen fuel switching. These technologies will be deployed and scaled up within the UK's industrial clusters. My role is to ensure that the evidence of the impacts of Innovate UK’s IDC programme are captured, analysed and reported to key stakeholders, both internally and externally. This involves coordination of the capture of our impact data across the portfolio as well as translation of data to performance metrics to explore the benefits of our programme to companies and key stakeholders. -
