CurrentMy life’s work is to end sexual abuse and the harm it causes. I am proud to serve as the Executive Director of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, which envisions that all people are able to live in a world without sexual abuse. During my tenure with ATSA I have guided the association’s expansion to 3,000 members, representing researchers, practitioners, and other professionals in more than two dozen countries. Our work includes research, outreach, education, advocacy, and the development of collaborative relationships with private and public organizations throughout the world.As ATSA’s Executive Director, I:• Guide implementation of the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of ATSA. • Host the world’s largest annual conference and leading educational venue for professionals interested in the research, treatment, and management of individuals who have sexually abused others or are at risk to do so. • Represent ATSA with private and public organizations throughout the world to promote evidence-based approaches to reducing and eventually eliminating incidents of sexual abuse. • Advocate for sound research, informed policy, effective practice, and comprehensive prevention initiatives through amicus briefs, media interviews, presentations, and other outreach opportunities.
