Rocksbox is the best way for women to try and purchase everyday jewelry that they love. Rocksbox was acquired by Signet, the largest seller of diamond jewelry in the world including retail storefront brands Zales and Jared, to expand their customer base to the "self-purchasing woman"I built the first version of Rocksbox's consumer-facing website and, much more extensively, our custom admin site used to manage all of our customers, shipments, products, coupons, gifts, subscriptions, etc.I built and managed the engineering and product team as CTO for two years. Team included in-house and remote engineers and designers.I acted as VP of Operations to design and build in-house fulfillment operation.My final title was VP of Customer Lifetime, responsible for online/offline customer experiences (measured through NPS), retention/churn rates, referral rates, customer research and customer service team.

Led front-end design and development for The Hikery.The Hikery enables users to join and create hike experiences within the Hikery network. The product generalizes the online/offline process of going hiking, facilitates the interactions involved with planning a hike and allows people to connect with new and existing friends while exploring new places.

Built software to help clients quote and sell products using the web. Became an expert in XSL-T and quoting engines to transform XML documents into beautiful, printed proposals.

World's largest and most exhaustive people search engine. Featured in Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and CNBC. Spock was recently acquired by Intelius.

SeeqPod's flagship product was its playable search engine, which indexed articles, videos, and audio tracks. SeeqPod could create smart playlists that found hidden relationships between digital data. It applied it's biomimetic search & discovery technology to other domains as well, including discovering hidden financial relationships between companies.
