Most of my experience is in a combination of the following areas:- stormwater pollutant source investigations / environmental forensics - water quality monitoring and reporting- watershed and stormwater management - data management, analysis, and visualization- NPDES, WDR, IGP, and Compost permit compliance Maia is a water resources engineer with experience in applying data analysis and modeling techniques to support regulatory compliance, including Clean Water Act litigation support, as well as watershed planning, and Best Management Practice (BMP) design. She applies her technical background in chemistry, hydrology, and engineering to solve complex water quality, stormwater/watershed management, and hydrologic problems. As a Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP), Maia has worked on multiple IGP and industrial stormwater projects, which included developing or updating Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Monitoring Implementation Plans, inspecting IGP sites, recommending operational changes and/or BMP improvements to minimize risk. Additionally, Maia has helped develop relational databases and data analysis workflows for numerous stormwater clients and applications.
