Nursery Principal
Current• Lead and manage all aspects of nursery operations.• Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans.• Oversee staff performance and professional development.• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for children.• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and welcoming nursery environment.• Greet and welcome parents, ensuring a positive atmosphere.• Ensure toys and activities are accessible to children.• Lead, manage, and develop an effective team.• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding requirements.• Conduct risk assessments for rooms and areas as per nursery policies.• Facilitate relevant training for staff, ensuring they are updated with best practices. • Address special needs of each child with care.• Provide guidance and support on EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).• Oversee nursery organization, staffing, timetables, meetings, and recruitment.• Maintain high standards for signs, pictures, and displays in the nursery.• Handle daily administrative duties and ensure timely completion.• Ensure policies and procedures are followed, revised, and updated.• Maintain nursery equipment and resources.• Partner closely with parents and inform them about the nursery's activities.• Ensure the security systems (door access, CCTV) are operational.• Manage day-to-day financial operations.
