My main areas of interests are climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainable mobility, renewable energies and nature conservation. I currently work for the city of Schwetzingen as a climate change manager.For most of my professional life I have worked in the tourism industry, primarily in sales and marketing. I have always had a keen interest in environmental protection and sustainability and have primarily worked for companies that offer nature-oriented and environmentally friendly trips. In 2020, I decided to make environmental protection my future professional focus and began a professional reorientation and a part-time master's degree course in environmental sciences at the Fernuni Hagen and the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT which I completed in mid-2022. I have worked successfully in a wide variety of roles: as part of very different teams, as a team leader and independently running my own company. I particularly enjoy working with people from different professional backgrounds. Thanks to my international work experience, I have strong intercultural skills and very good foreign language skills.
