Design and Updating of As-Built Plans for Control Architecture, Control Panels, and Conduits for Manifold C-CNT Automation in the Entel Tower

I led projects for the design, installation, and programming of PLCs from renowned brands such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider Electric (M340). Additionally, I was responsible for analyzing and detecting faults in existing equipment.I developed and programmed HMI's and SCADA systems using Factory Talk View (ROCKWELL) and TIA Portal (Siemens), enabling effective visualization and optimal control of the systems.I carried out meticulous component selection and calculation for installation in control and power electrical panels, known as CCMs, ensuring safe and efficient operation.I created detailed electrical diagrams for various projects using Eplan Electric P8 software, guaranteeing accurate and clear documentation for system implementation and maintenance.

My role involved leading projects for the installation and software updates of PLCs and identifying electronic faults in production equipment. Responsible for leading projects involving the installation of personnel attendance control systems, including access controls and fingerprint biometric devices. Additionally, I supervised the installation of alarm and siren systems on emergency doors in buildings, as well as the implementation of fire alarm panels and detectors from renowned brands such as Sovica and Bosch.My primary responsibility included the prompt resolution of any issues or malfunctions in any of the aforementioned systems. This involved efficient resource management, coordination with technical teams, and a rapid response to ensure the safety and uninterrupted operation of these critical systems.

During my internship, the project focused on the creation of an electronic alarm system designed to detect and report faults within CORPOELEC's electrical substations. This system involved the construction and implementation of an electronic solution that incorporates a communication protocol, allowing interaction between the main station and substations through a SCADA system. The main objective is to accurately identify faults and carry out the necessary corrections.The project's methodological approach is based on its feasibility and is developed at a descriptive level, supported by documentary and field-based design. In terms of project hardware, the PIC18f4520 microcontroller and Ethernet controller were used. The microcontroller is responsible for managing multiple alarm input points, while the Ethernet controller provides remote connectivity to the equipment. As alarm indicators operate at different voltage levels (24V, 48V, and 125V), adaptation was implemented using optocouplers and current-limiting resistors, allowing their connection to the microcontroller.Finally, the project's software was developed in Visual Basic 6, allowing the remote visualization of various alarms on a PC.
