International tax lawyer, leading EY's EU Tax Policy Hub. I advise businesses on international tax policy developments as part of a global team that fosters the development of truly integrated advisory solutions.Before joining EY, I held various positions in the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA). I supported developing countries in their contributions to the BEPS project, was a counsellor to the CTPA Director and led the work on the Multilateral Instrument.Prior to joining the OECD Secretariat, I was a policy advisor to the Netherlands Ministry of Finance. In addition to leading tax treaty negotiations and mutual agreement procedures, I was a delegate to Working Parties of the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs. At the same time, I held a part-time position as lecturer and researcher at Rotterdam University. I am passionate about enhancing the exchange of knowledge and experience between international tax professionals. As an active member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and chair of the Netherlands branch, I organise meetings on current developments, providing a neutral platform for experts from all backgrounds. Being a member of the IFA Permanent Scientific Committee I promote the participation of young tax experts in the scientific events of IFA.
