As president of CoHo Services, Maili Morrison is responsible for the strategic growth of the company and for developing the brand’s roadmap. She has a special focus on the technology division with Coho Reservations, which specializes in providing electronic distribution and marketing for independent hotels worldwide.Maili understands that the hospitality industry, at its core, is about providing services that make guests feel cared for and comfortable. Many of these services are based on good old-fashioned traditions. On the other hand, technology is created with the future in mind and the goal of solving problems. Maili understands this dichotomy and uses it to her advantage.She got her start exclusively with Coho in 2010 as the Senior Director of Business Development, where she was tasked with sales and developing partnerships to bring in new customers. As Maili evolved with the company she began handling branding and marketing as the Senior Director of Marketing and Development, where she helped launch strategic marketing concepts to expand the business into new domestic and international markets. Prior to her current role as president, she was Executive Vice President, where she led a team of over 20+ sales and marketing leaders to run marketing initiatives for the Coho brand.Her drive is to continue the legacy and mission of CoHo Services for future generations. She describes CoHo’s company culture as akin to a supportive, collaborative family and that gratitude is her driving force.Beyond her work at Coho, Maili uses her leadership abilities to serve and motivate others. She was past president of the Oregon chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She is also a proven force creatively, and was awarded the Bronze Adrian Award by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International for a rebranding campaign for Southpark Seafood thatconnected guests virtually to a farm-to-table dining experience.Maili received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern New HampshireUniversity and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Oregon State University. She alsoreceived a certification from Cornell University in Executive Women in Leadership.
