I am an accomplished academic with a passion for innovation and extensive experience in materials research with specialisation in batteries, energy storage, carbon materials and membrane materials science.Throughout my career, I have been able to drive innovation in research, delivering significant benefits to the scientific and materials communities. As a senior academic, I have been instrumental in establishing strong relationships with early career researchers and enjoy mentoring them to help them build their capabilities. I have been highly successful in establishing productive media relationships, and my research has attracted extensive media coverage globally.
