Product Control

Product Control, Fixed Income, Commodities and Currencies.Leading a 6 member team to meet the daily, weekly and monthly SLAs by work allocation, training, reviewing, preparing SOPs and migrating new deliverables. Prepare daily risk-based P/L decomposition. Supervise the reconciliation of the daily P/L reports to GL and source systems. Analyze all attributes of the daily P/L with upstream and parallel systems. Investigate and resolve day to day P&L issues, on large PnL swings/variances explaining in terms of book risk positions and economic factors. Interface with support areas to ascertain trades are correctly booked. Deal with ad hoc management reporting queries from the trading desk. Carry out data integrity and Balance Sheet validation. Coordinate and Facilitate the weekly SLA calls, T1 number commentary calls and Error Log discussions with the Onshore Team(UK and US).Highlights: Migrated Entire US Credit Flow business from Hyderabad site and successfully stabilized the process in Pune. Managing 8 PnL books for US with various daily and Monthly MIS reports by through 6 team members by meeting daily and monthly deliverables. Received the Opel Award for the best performer of the quarter. Revamped the process map after the migration from Socrates to Cognos to find out and resolve Unexplained PnLs. Streamlined a couple of monthly MIS tasks and contributed towards process improvement. Achieved “Star Award” for October 2012 month for outstanding contribution towards the process. SPOC for Fun, Sports and BES(Business Effectiveness survey) committee.

 As an accredited “Quality Checker (SME)”, responsible for the Quality and Timeliness of service delivery by planning and monitoring activities and PLAs. Coordinate with the Senior Managements of Business Partner’s side and provide required Financial Planning and Analysis along with Management reports as per needs for client presentation as well as Management decision making. Preparation of Daily Dashboards, FP&A, MIS Reporting focusing on AUM, Asset flows, Revenue, Expenses etc. Responsible for preparation of Revenue reports, revenue analysis and various ad-hoc reports in co-ordination with regional business managers for revenue forecast. Active role in Headcount analysis and assisting management in decision making process,Preparation of Cost MIS, Analysis, Planning & Budgeting, Quarterly Reviews (QRM) and other business management activities Provide clear and concise management reporting with strong MIS Reporting skills using MS Office and other Online reporting tools apart from ensuring strong Internal Control by way of robust Reconciliation process. Preparation and analysis of Profit and Loss Account (Flash and Actuals) including Cost and Recovery analysis. Ascertaining and tracking revenues in the form of Custody Charges, Transaction Charge, FX Profits and Corporate Action Fees from clients, recording of accruals and prepayments and preparation of invoices for further postings. Preparation of P&L MIS and Analysis of variance for Revenues and Expenditures. Production of monthly recovery reports and daily outstanding charges report. Timecard reporting through the E-TCS tool, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Preparation of Monthly MI (Management Information) Pack.

 Catering to the HNI clients by assessing individual investment goals and risk appetite thereby suggesting them appropriate investment vehicles to fulfil their short and long term financial objective. Dealing with products like equities and non-equities comprising of Discretionary and Non-Discretionary Portfolio Management Services, Broking, Mutual Funds, Insurance and Structured Products like Nifty Linked Debentures and Real Estate Funds. Providing customers with regular market updates, new product updates as well as interim results of their portfolios formed a major part of the job.
