Founder/CeoDigital Imaging Institute For Science And Medicine Jan 2009 - Aug 2016The Digital Imaging Institute was established to address the educational needs of the "other" users of Photoshop. While there are many choices for learning to use Photoshop creatively, those of us in the medical and scientific community who need training have been pretty much ignored. If you look at the history of digital imaging and the early users of Photoshop, you can understand why. While twenty years ago graphic artists and creative photographers were beginning to make the transition to digital imaging, it is only in the last few years that this paradigm shift has occurred in medicine and science. Unfortunately, most of the Photoshop educational content developed has been targeted at the creative use of digital images. The Digital Imaging Institute has been created to change that.At the Digital Imaging Institute we understand that the majority of professionals working in all areas of medicine and science do not want or need to become Photoshop experts. In most cases they need to know how to use distinct aspects within the program to do their real jobs efficiently. -
