As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, I perform mock regulatory safety and environmental inspections at underground storage tank (UST) sites. This allows the client to maintain compliance and identify problems between state agency inspections. This position requires knowledge of the basic mechanics of USTs, gasoline dispensers, and their leak detection systems, as well as an understanding of current state and federal legislation.

As Video Call Project Coordinator, I train and coordinate 30+ volunteers to place calls to incarcerated people inside the Broome County Jail. The reports received from people inside are used, with their permission, to bring media and legal action against the jail. The position, which is funded by a grant from the Vera Institute of Justice, requires the ability to lead a team, write analytically, speak publicly, et cetera. As Coordinator of this project, I have assisted in preparing for a hearing of the NYS Senate Committee on Crime Victims, Crime and Correction, as well as addressed crowds of 100+ at public events.

Upstate New York

Responsible for the transportation of public school students and business clientele across the greater region of Upstate New York. This work includes chauffeuring anybody from wedding parties, airport travellers, students with special needs, et cetera. Vehicles range from sedans to mini-coach buses.

As Public Outreach Coordinator (August 2017-August 2018), I worked on coordinating social media, public events, and meetings for the Binghamton University chapter of NYPIRG. Also headed the Hunger and Homelessness campaign and worked with the Bear Necessities Food Pantry to alleviate local issues of poverty and food accessibility. I was the Vice President of the Binghamton chapter from August 2018 until May 2019.
