Using Coldfusion, I created the award winning Michelin Ballymena intranet from scratch. This ERP system consisted of a suite of ~300 reports providing real-time production, loss, productivity, engineering, traceability, quality, stock, cycle time reporting. Presented in tabular and/or graphical format. Extracted data from various sources: mainly Oracle but also MS SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, MySQL, text files.Worked with 2 other IT staff, providing technical support to the 600 end users in Michelin Ballymena. Troubleshooting all software and hardware on site, escalation to IBM via Maximo / Service Now when necessaryAs the only on-site developer in Michelin Ballymena, I solely created all in-house online web applications. Examples include: Ballymena Staff Attendance System, Online web application supporting an outplacement programme of courses and individual coaching sessions, IT Dashboard, Layered Process Audit System, Material requirements planning (MRP) system which resulted in >75% reduction in time taken to calculate production loadings. Created external websites for local companies as part of the Michelin Development scheme which offers financial support and business expertise to SMEs. Also involved in the creation / maintenance of websites for companies associated with Michelin (Ballymena Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Development Forum)Was responsible for overseeing the transition to new systems including Office 2010, Lotus Notes 8, Windows 7, Office 365. Created user guides, delivered training courses to help users with the transition. Created a Knowledge Base from common recurring issues in order to empower users to help themselves before submitting an IT Dashboard ticket.Created news articles and other content for the Ballymena section of the Michelin corporate intranet, designed layout of the Michelin UK section of this intranet.
